University of Glasgow and University of Strathclyde feature 2011 Scholars in quarterly publications.

The achievements of some of our 2011 Scholars have been featured in two prominent university quarterly magazines.

The University of Glasgow featured Andrew Carey, Christopher Scott, Darren Smith, John Mervin, Kathryn Fraser, Nadia McLean, Sarah Hampton and Susan Rimmer in their Avenue Magazine. The article mentioned the high-calibre placements that the students took part in over the summer period.

The University of Strathclyde Business School's Winter edition of Pioneer magazine discussed their six business school students who had participated in the Saltire 2011 Scholarship Programme. Jane Manson who undertook an internship with the Trump Organisation and David McKniff who worked for Citigroup in Hong Kong were both interviewed for the article. They described  how working for truly global organisations has given them a new business perspective and made them reassess the qualities and skills that they can bring to businesses they work for in the future.
