The programme is designed to fastrack business leaders: those who can create opportunities, envision and navigate change, surmount complexity, and motivate teams in a common purpose to grow organizations and create economic and social value.

In addition, you will be exposed to world class networks both in Scotland and globally, for example through GlobalScots. Your peer network will be unrivalled as you will share your journey with a cohort of Scotland's "best and brightest" and have access to Saltire Foundation Alumni. You will also receive a thorough grounding in the specific opportunities and challenges at a company, sectoral and national level within the global and Scottish context.

The Foundation will work closely with you to source unique job opportunities introducing you to potential future employers from day 1. Of the Saltire Fellows who graduated in July 2011, 70% continue to work with their high growth project companies post Fellowship, 20% are with companies introduced by The Saltire Foundation and 10% sourced their own role.

Looking to the future, the experience does not end on graduation as a Saltire Fellow you would continue to learn and access networks, business and job opportunities through the tailored alumni programme.
